Ogunsola Dolapo

Meet Dolapo

Dolapo was a late entrant to this party, however she presents as one of the most active and curious participants. She is a small business owner who sells groceries – water, rice, oil. etc.

Here are a few lessons Dolapo took home with her during the course of the training:

  1. 1. Full understanding of budgeting (even though she is an illiterate, she solicits the help of her child who documents her income and expenses daily.)
  2. 2. Initiated a salary structure for herself from proceeds of sales outside of profit.
  3. 3. Practices the expense theory (documenting all overhead expenses and treating accordingly)
  4. 4. Is able to adequately manage price hike in products, because she continuously boosts her working capital
  5. 5. Makes a documentation of each product sale as she has diverse products; this is so she knows what products are to be discontinued to make room for products that are continuously sought.

Mrs. Dolapo is excited about doing business a different way and looks forward to the endless possibilities.
